Back Again for 2018!

Huge thanks to everyone for your continued support!

Back Again for 2018

I’m back again for another season of skate sharpening.

I hate to start off my fifth year with some bad news but…. I’ve had to raise the price to $6 per sharpen this year.

The cost for all the consumables for sharpening skates has steadily increased the last few years so I was left with the choice of increasing rates a bit or shutting down completely. I hope you’ll find that its still the best deal in the area as the other shops have increased their rates as well. Goalie skates and Flat Bottom-V are

Now for some good news….

First off I will be offering cards again this year and the new design is really cool. The cards will be $25 for 5 sharpens. Goalie skates and Flat Bottom-V still count as 2 punches on the card.

Secondly, I purchased a SaniSport machine this summer from a skate shop in Toronto that was shutting down.

What is a SaniSport machine you ask? It’s about the size of a double door fridge and you put your gross, smelly sports gear in it, have the cycle work for 20 minutes and out comes your gear with 99.99% of the bacteria and mold removed and the smell is significantly better.

I put my son’s lacrosse gear in the machine and it came out much better than when it went it.

If you follow this link to my website http://carlisleskatesharpening.com/sanisportfaq.html there is a bunch of Frequently Asked Questions related to the SaniSport Machine with some answers. Also the SaniSport website is a great source http://www.sani-sport.com/

Thirdly, I am offering hockey tape and skate laces from Howies Hockey this year. These can be purchased for $5 each or are worth one punch each on a skate card. In my opinion the tape from Howies is the best on the market.

And lastly, I can also fix rivets and eyelets in skates and also replace the steel runners if broken or cracked.

That’s all the news for now, but there is other news coming so stay tuned!

As always reach out to me via email (seth@carlisleskatesharpening) or text/phone ( 289-812-0128 ) if you have any questions

I look forward to serving you this season.

Seth.
